Anniversary Dinner

Last night's dinner at the Rosebud on Queen W was just lovely! I had a roasted beet salad with arugula to start (not pictured) and the handmade gnocchi with braised shortrib as my main. (middle, right) Brock had the mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad to start, with the roasted halibut served atop a creamy mixture of leeks, peas and fava beans as his main. We actually swapped plates halfway through so we could get a taste of each others dishes. The kitchen surprised us with a couple of desserts as well, which was a perfect way to end our meal. (Thanks Graham! It was totally unexpected, but much appreciated.. wish you were working so we could've said hi!)
